[proposal] Canucks and Predators:  Gaudette + Virtanen for Cousins and Sissons  
 

My guess is that the Canucks would have to add here in order to make it work, but I’d be willing to do it depending on what the ‘add’ entailed obviously.   
 

Canucks get their long term 3rd C along in Sissons (BC boy) + a gritty hard working bottom 6 winger in Cousins.  
 

Canucks sign Adam Larsson and Tryamkin in the off season as well.

I'd pass on that deal - certainly would not add.

Good bottom six veteran forwards - but I wouldn't take either of them one for one for either younger forward, ket alone both - and get older on both counts in the process. 

Might take Sissons in a deal (has a 6yr x 2.8 contract, mind you), but only if Trenin were the other player coming this way.

If everyone is already upset at the performances of players like Suter, Ericsson, Beagle, Roussel, why are we trying to add more of those types of players....? 

 

If you guys are looking for some changes, seems better if Ferland comes back and bring some energy, driving the net and hitting to the game. Ridicious thing is more than half of CDC was calling out for this kid to retire the whole summer. Just the way this board is.

So, you KNOW he is coming back?  Every time he came back he said he was fine, got into a fight and left.  It's not like anyone wants him to be hurt and unavailable, people want him to retire so he can enjoy his family and have a life after hockey.  Coming back could actually cost him his quality of life down the road.  You can't just expect him to come back and upgrade our lineup.

Never said he is coming back or I even want him to come back. Since this board is so desperate for something to shake this team up, I am suggesting Ferland coming back is the best bet to shake up the team with some energy. Of course he should be 100% healthy for this to even be considered.
