Its actually kinda funny to watch a rookie like Juolevi, and how much quicker he makes decisions with the puck than Myers.

 

Its good for him to be with a vet like Mysie though, especially with his skating ability.

They need to keep targeting markys blocker side.  Teams seemed to know it in the playoffs last year.  Tonight both goals were blocker side and the backhand by hogs was blocker side but was saved by the post.

It's amazing what a bit of time at home/off/to practice can do.

 

Our team will benefit from the conditioning stint they were just put through in January.  Other teams are going to play catch up and hopefully wear down.  One game...but it was a convincing performance and something we know they're capable of.

 

They were not backing in...they were turning the Flames away at the blue line.  Turning the puck over and frustrating them.

I'm with ya! We're seeing what just a couple of days off can do to reenergize the team. It was the first two day break we had all season. It not only gave the team a rest, but it gave them a much needed practice.
