Mark Friedman was the only skater claimed. Other 4 were goalies that teams were trying to send to the taxi squad. Two were also claimed back by their original team when their new team tried to send them to their taxi squad. Aaron Dell waived by Toronto still with NJD. Winnipeg still has Anton Forsberg claimed from Edmonton, but claimed Comrie back (from NJD) who has to clear quarantine - they might then waive Forsberg. Grosenick is back with LA after being claimed by Edmonton.

Provost
Boy, Tinordi is a guy that I really wanted back when he was still in the minors. I thought he would be a really dependable Willie Mitchell type player Just another guy who has the tools but couldn't put it together.

hammertime
I'd take tinordi if we gonna lose we may as well goon it up on the way to the bottom. team has no teeth. score might be 5-1 but its 3-0 us on bloody noses. no easy wins.

oldnews
Noesen was a player that looked like he'd carve out a bottom six NHL career. 2017/18 in NJ was a very good season for him (24 yrs old at the time). 37.5% ozone starts 50.2% corsi (some of the better underlying numbers on the Devils). 13g, 14 a, +12, in 72 games. 2.7 on ice goals for per 60, 2.0 against 112 hits 33 takeaways, 15 giveaways (+18 turnover differential). But then tailed off the following season and hasn't really sustained since. 1

And comes from good stock... his Dad was a monster in the league. Having a Dad who knows how to become an NHLer seems to help most guys figure it out. Maybe this did the reverse, hard to escape the shadow. Edited February 27, 2021 by Provost

To your point that was heavily reliant on hindsight about picking duds. Guess what? Every GM selects at least one, especially in the first round. Look at how decent this draft was... https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/draft/nhl2010e.html ZOMG SHOULD"VE DRAFTED KUZNETSOFFFF!!!! I remember when people were all over picking Tinordi. That year, we lost out on a late first round pick - that ended up being a Quinton Howden for FLA, who didn't turn out to be NHL calibre. You know who got for that? Keith Ballard. oldnews
I remember when Tinordi fought Pedan (a Canuck/Comet) at the time - that did not end well. Kudos to him for making his way back into the NHL in Nashville after 4 years....
