Tonight for sure but in general some youngsters should be getting more time, more consistently.

All players healthy, who would you sit for the young guys?

Petey Miller Boeser

Pearson Horvat Hoglander

Roussel Sutter Gaudette

Motte Beagle Virtanen

Macewan Hawrlyuk Bailey

Eriksson Michaelis

Rooster maybe?

I’ve been around a minute. Never seizes to amaze me.

I get it, after tonights teaser - all is well - but if they lay an egg next game, then we all know what happens next at this forum.  But tonight, Demko with his timely saves and to a certain degree, the balance deployment was the difference(s) to us winning - imo.

I’d sit rotate Rooster/Gaud/Virtanen with the other youngsters when they have an off game.

Gives everyone a chance and keeps the bottom 6 fresh.

If one of them is playing well than by all means keep him in but you gotta stand out well. You gotta maintain playing well.

I'm just not a fan of playing goaltenders in back to back games

Gotta manage the fatigue over the course of a season and giving your goaltender rest cuts down the risk of injury

Perhaps, best to have a good line of communication with the player cause if I was a competitive player and I am rolling I would speak up & insist but I understand were your coming from....

He looked a bit slow there in a couple of spots. Fatigue maybe.

Having a young player like Hawryluk on that line made it a very affective line tonight.  Laffs will be making some adjustments next game hopefully, the staff is ready and rolls four lines again.
