I've noticed that they don't get called for many penalties.

You know funny thing is they have the second most penalties in the league the past 3 years second to the Canucks.  Both these teams have been screwed over more often than not by the refs

Hard no there, unless you want our young players thinking playing like that lazy floater is acceptable.  His laziness gave us the PP that tied the game, since he didn't care enough to skate another stride to avoid a delay of game.  When you're a gutless coward who quits on your teammates, doesn't care about winning, is scared of the puck, and needs a tourist visa to cross your own blueline, it doesn't matter how many points you put up; you're a liability and belong in the press box until you start to put in an acceptable effort and show that you actually want to be an NHLer.  Glad Benning steered free of that piece of trash and his character issues; he's a perfect fit in Toronto where playing like an NHLer in your own end is completely optional.

Agreed. Ehlers was my guy at the time, would've been great. I'd even take Vrana who went 13th before Softlander. Atleast he doesn't disappear in the playoffs.
