Are players get paid 2/3 of their contract salary this year?

Salaries are not pro-rated for the shortened season.  They are getting paid 72%.  There’s a 20% reduction for escrow and an additional 10% on the remaining 80% as a deferral.  That 10% deferral will be paid back in the future.

Performance bonuses are pro-rated 56/82 though.  Hughes and Pettersson won’t receive their full 850K in schedule A but only 580K.

That sign did not say "Spare change, please."

It said "Trade me, please."

@Alain Vigneault made it for him.

I'm guessing, but players that have their contracts sort of 'lockout proof' (eg., they get a salary and a bonus payout in the offseason like Loui Eriksson's deal some years) get 100% of that bonus money.

That bonus is treated like salary - there’s a 20% escrow and a 10% deferral.
