Have we waited longer than anyone?  Sure.  But not "this" team and that's what gets thrown into the blender at times.  They own only the past few years, not all of it.

You can correct me if I’m misunderstanding this but I think you may have mistyped some of these stats. For the Canucks, Leafs and Oilers you have used the number of years making playoffs as the comparison. For the Flames you used 9 (rather than 10?). For the Jets, Canadiens and Senators you compared to the full 20 years. For example the Sens should be 4/12, 2/12, 1/12 and 6/12.

 

Again, pardon  me if I am misinterpreting this. In any case I don’t think it substantially changes your point just that the Jets, Leafs and Habs aren’t quite as bad as this looks.
