not, really. we have to get about 32 points out of the next 21 games

Based on a hypothetical projection of points needed.

Until the games in hand are played you can’t put an accurate percentage on chances.

If we don’t win back to back in regulation against the Jets, we are done.

We just need the win any way we can...we aren't catching WNP...

well, that would be greens fault. it's his choice to employ the one across the line offense.

As head coach he def shares the responsibility alongside Baumgartner and Brown, he doesn't get a free pass. None of them should be back next season.

Wow, you sure changed your tune lately

I read that as sarcasm, we’re a decent team with sub par coaching, odds are at some point we should have a run of good games and sadly that’s what will get Green resigned again.

that's just a guess. there is no point cutoffs.  Any of the teams ahead can tank and that will make a difference.

one of edmonton or mtl would have to play .450 hockey and the canucks would still need to play at .750 to catch them

Considering we didn't have our two best players, including our MVP in the lineup, I guess we can be happy we got 1 point especially how this game could have gotten out of hand.

Pretty fortunate to split the points 3 and 3 with how terrible the reffing was and how banged up we are.

That said, the way we've been playing, we're simply never going to win a game unless the goalie absolutely steals it.

Is that best case?

Oilers have .606 win %

MTL has .567 win %

VAN has .500 win %

Our best chance is to catch MTL.  We needed this win tonight.

Funny how this series was win in regulation or we’re done. Now it’s win in Winnipeg or we’re done.

It’s all gonna come down to the games in hand and who falters. If the flames keep losing to the Leafs and the Oilers start tanking against the Jets things can change real quick.

The Panel sure loves to rave about him, like he's a god. But yet, Price let in 4 goals on 15 shots against a non-playoff team. Let's talk about that, Panel.

Price is over-rated. Sure he won a Vezina and Hart 6 years ago, but so what? Holtby won the Vezina 5 years ago, and a Cup 3 years ago.

Canucks were lucky to get the Loser point. Bring on the Jets, with Demko.

4.3, and Holtby's the last guy I'd be blaming tonight. One can argue that Demko might have been able to get us two, but even he'd be hard pressed with a garbage effort up front.

Despite giving up four goals this one isn't on him.

Not the result we wanted, but not the worst outcome... Had Nucks not been robbed by the refs yesterday, it would have been a decent trip to Montreal...

Whole team looks gassed. Sutter in particular... Hopefully Both Petey and Beagle back soon.

Get a couple of win against Jets and we'll be back on track...It ain't over to the fat lady sings...

Pettersson is on LTIR and will miss at least next game - LTIR is at least 10 games out and this was game 9 without him.  There’s a 6 day break in the schedule after the upcoming 2 games at home vs the Jets.

Nope, playing within the division ONLY is way different. In 2 weeks the Canucks made so much ground on the #1 laffs.

So many different combinations of wins/losses from other teams can change the top half in less than 2 weeks.

But going nuts in the stretch run would help for sure.
