Vancouver isn't the only city with the problem this year though, players across Canada seem to have been complaining about the ice more than usual. The only common denominator I can see is a lack of fans. That said, they should be able to humidify the air in the arena, but if a place is designed for 18000 people it may not  be designed to replace their breathing... cause why would anyone assume the place to be empty in the the first place?

In Raincouver we likely have the same RH as a full stadium in a dry location. These arenas are climate controlled, so again I can't think of a reason why an empty stadium would be a problem. Plenty of ice rinks in the lower mainland without crowds.

Great effort by the team; if it aint the refs its, lady luck that is against us - this year.  Time for JB, to sell and for Green to play the rookies (especially, in the D were 3 will soon to be free agents anyways); Green has been riding this vet lineup for awhile now and it has been Demko who has won these games not the vet d core - hope to see some changes next game.

Jets just seem to have our number this year - next game.  GCG!

Why??! Olympic facility, in Covid/times, & no heat-wave out there for Pete’s sake?!  Aquilini’s cutting costs on ice-making.

 Sad.

They actually used to get their ice from the Edmonton Eskimos but they no longer exist. :(
