IMHO they should not rush any of injured players back especailly Bo, would much rather have a completely healthy Bo for 2021-2022 season and the same with Petey. Time to play all the young guns and see what they can do Their season isn’t done you see there are 20 games left to a season unraveling during a worldwide pandemic. That’s 40 points. They’re currently at 35 point. They’ve won 7 of 9 and if either Horvat or Sutter can’t go tomorrow, so be it for that game. They’re surely going to be in the lineup after the break. So then it’s back to full throttle. If it costs the next game to get back to business as it were, bring on the loss next game then. It is then, a calculated loss. This is a good team, and they’re juuuuuuuuuuust turning the corner on a decade-long rebuild toward an actual Cup. What I like about the problems this team has, is Benning has drafted so many superstars, that the plan accelerated faster than he could shed contracts. The financial problems the Canucks have are actually great! They’re at least a year early. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Boyd replace Sutter (someone mentioned this in here somewhere). Vesey’s got game. I’m very impressed. When all is said and done he’s probably on the 3rd line. But him getting nearly 18 minutes a game is a testament of his work ethic and his tenacity. Great pickups by Benning to give our boys some depth. 3 of 4 centres are coming back for the Calgary game on March 31. Horvat may play tomorrow, Sutter as well, and Beagle is skating but no contact. And also, Podkolzin. The only Benning first round pick not currently on the Canucks. Available after April 30, and is probably going to look like a T-32 Höglander. HÖGLANDER - HORVAT - PODKOLZIN Man that’s going to be tough to play against. Can’t wait to see who Benning drafts in the first round in 2021. Chances that kid is going to make the NHL, 100%. Chances he’s going to be a star, I’d say around 75-80% Beyond the clouds, it’s super sunny. Edited March 24, 2021 by Me_ 3 1
