Honestly, if Benning didn't &^@# up the cap and we can pick up quality depth player and bring back players like Toffoli and sign a couple more legit middle 6 forwards and top 4 D to 1-2 year contracts, with EP and Hughes on ELC, Demko, Boeser, Horvat, Miller on extremely team friendly deals, this could have been a year we challenge for one.

 

Instead we are stuck with Beagle, Roussel, Eriksson, Sutter and bunch of pylons eating up our cap space

Strange to say but for most of the game they actually played a decent game this time. Two stupid deserved penalties set the tone, a bunch of posts,  then their goalie plays lights out. We’re not good enough but the effort was there.
