You really have to wonder how some people pick up COVID, considering they're in a bubble of some kind, and they're obligated to know what they're touching.

30 guys, most of whom have wives or partners who also live their daily lives (go get a coffee, touch door handles, take out food, walk by people on the street, etc.). A lot of potential for something to possibly have been passed on unknowingly by a partner and then it gets into the locker room.

they're not living in a bubble, nor are family members.  The p1 variant is raging down there right now and it's highly transmissable........not that hard to catch infection

Tell that to the 128,000,000 people infected world wide and 2,500,000 dead peoples families Dazzle.

"They were obligated to know what they were touching"

Good lord man, maybe a bit of compassion ?

Have the players been vaccinated or do they have to wait like everyone else, depending where they are?

I know it won’t stop them from carrying and spreading the disease just would like to know out of curiosity.

Some US teams have been vaccinated, but the Canadian teams pulled back, not wanting to be seen to have preferential status

Like their face 90 times an hour because they're wearing a face diaper which actually stops nothing because the particles are smaller than smoke and the air simply follows the paths of least resistanc?

Money can buy almost anything .....but the vaccine isn't yet a commercially available product, being only supplied to governments who have contracted with the pharmaceutical companies.  Those US players are in states, like California or Florida, where any age group is now eligible at taxpayers expense. (I had my second Moderna shot a few hours ago, was asked for ID a month ago but they accepted a BC driver's license)

We laughed at the US a few months ago as they bungled thru their response, but they sure have stepped up to the plate in vaccine approval, distribution and implementation

I know.  The thousands of tests they will use.  Staff testing them everyday.  Or 30 vaccines.  The province is pumping out 25,000 jabs a day now.  30 make zero difference.

But all those tests they are using could be used elsewhere.
