Popular Post Nucksownyou
Unlike all the pathetic ass haters, I think this will be great if it is at a reasonable price. With Podkolzin coming in, he can maybe be pushed down to the third line, which would be perfect! 2 9
Rabbit
I like this player. If the value is reasonable, there will be a good extension. 3
Popular Post kanucks25
Don't really see how we can afford him cap wise to play on the 3rd line unless he's taking a big discount AAV wise just to stay here. 1 1 4

Popular Post flickyoursedin
Sometimes it feels like we’re the only team that re-signs our expiring vets instead of trading them for the inflated TDL prices. I do like Pearson and I guess trading and bringing him back as a UFA is a little too unrealistic. 2 1 1 1
HorvatToBaertschi
Heard this last night while I was watching the Edm-Mtl intermission on TSN (and obvs they were talking about potential good fits for Toronto's forward group smfh).. Dreger was saying that Pearson was a great fit for Toronto, but that he sees Pearson staying in Vancouver, signing a short 2-3 year deal with a smaller AAV. Take it with a grain of salt I guess? Lancaster
In the perfect world.... he's traded for a king's ransom, then he re-signs with the Canucks below market price. 1
Popular Post VegasCanuck
Right now, in today's flat cap market, his value is 2.5 - 3 million per year. If we can resign him in that range for 2 - 3 years, all good! We know how he fits with the team already vs signing someone similar this summer for similar money. He's a solid Middle 6 player with size and experience on a cup winning team. 2 1 1

EternalCanuckFan
A 2-3 year term for Pearson is palatable as long as his cap hit is appreciably lower than what it is now. My guess is it will take at least limited trade protection also. They should really sign this after expansion however... J-Dizzle
3x3/3.5 I’d be happy. Guy’s been a solid 2nd line winger for us. If he gets pushed to the third then we’re laughing.
The King
Only keep Pearson if we can get him for 3 million per season, otherwise, deal him for a decent pick. Edler should also get dealt for a very decent pick as well.

Thats still bad, he a forth liner on the Avs, Knights, Lighting, the only reason he is a top six player on this team is because we don;t have any legit top 6 players beside,Miller, Boeser, Petey Bo, 1

-DLC-
He's been out awhile...harder to move a player who's injured for multiple weeks with a bit of an unclear prognosis/return I'd think? 1
Fortstrength
For the sake of giving Bo some continuity of line mates I’d be fine with Pearson staying. Agree that as our prospects join in a perfect work he’s a 3rd line player. You know what you have at least.
