I was reasonably close. 3 yrs isn't bad, can still be exposed for expansion sake,and the ntc is limited. He gets more tradeable per season, so as soon as Podz pushes him out of the way, it will be time to trade the guy. Begining of the season after next, I'd expect to see Pearson on the third line, gone the season after that. We need one less Tanner Pearson, replaced by a better player in order to take the next step. One less Sutter, Roussel, Eriksson, etc. too. (If that’s even possible to quantify). Even his physical appearance. If I told my 8 year old daughter to draw a hockey player, that drawing would look just like Pearson.
