Boys don't give a &^@# about draft position

They just won a game against the top team in their division right after having experienced Covid as a team, that $&!# is cathartic

No kidding. They don't play for the Stanley Draft Position after all.

Agree with you there.  Honestly i didn’t see a knee sticking out on that play. Eddie just stayed  on course rather than trying to avoid. had Hyman not moved, that’s just body on body collision.

That was a horsesh!t call.  Instead taking the Hyman tried a last second avoidance move.  That was 100% on Hyman

He was the best on our team D in +/- last I checked, and getting the toughest assignments (D starts, PK, and minutes).

He passed my eye test.. for whatever that's worth. He's a great skater, a great passer, and a great physical force. Like all big dudes, he tends to have problem with the puck in his feet. As for the naysayers, well, people just talk $&!# all the time. I've been frustrated at times with his play, but hell, I'd never say he's an anchor or anything at that contract. Dude's one of a kind in the league for what he brings once Chara retires. Imagine him and Tram as our 2nd pairing? Mmmmmmmm.. shades of '94 with our towers on D. I really hope Tram comes back, just for a sniff. He had some super potential, in fact he and Myers have nearly an identical skill set. As for Tyler, one thing I've noticed with him is that he's best when the pressure's on. Like most players, he does take games off, where he not as noticeable, and God forbid that he has a bad game. He's healthy, well rested, and now he's also THE guy. Prediction: Myers is gonna beast it up for the rest of this season.

I've noticed Myers is better the bigger the games are too (game 7 after Vegas scored he was one of the only guy skating the puck into their zone successfully, could tell he wanted to score ...a lot of other examples too).. He's got a propensity to score GWG's or tying ones, be on the ice when we score a big goal or make the pass that creates the play and sometimes gets rewarded on the stat sheet for it with a point.   One of the best D performances all year from anyone, including himself because he's had a few other dandies too.

He was pooped ... him and Myers were on the ice for a long shift, iced the puck and took forever to get it out of the zone, nothing, not even Hymans knees, was stopping him from getting to the bench, also doubt it was at all deliberate.

it's like Bieksa said during the broadcast, just a reflex to stick a body part out to get a piece and impede the guy. no malice or intent to injure, but the brain fart ended in a dirty play worthy of a suspension.

Exactly, no intent but he glided in with the leg extended for a 3 count.  3 games for repeat offender.

I didn't exactly go along with Bieksa's defense of Edler on the knee. He's done it before but that said I think it can be a reflex play. Your coming in on the guy and you want contact. Fear of missing contact you throw the leg out. Bieksa says players don't deliberately do this but IMHO if your leg is planted the risk is seriously reduced. Tough hockey and Eddie can be a very tough player to go up against.

My stars are Horvat-Holtby-Meyers. Serious honourable mention to Hogs. Meyers at +30 minutes was a giant in more ways than one. Kinda legendary.

I know Myers is getting all the hype from last night... As he deserves it. Poor guy has had nothing but trolls that never skated in their lives constantly bashing him all year.

But one guy is going under the radar... Hamonic was absolute BEAST MODE.

1 mill only too! LOL errrmaahhguurddd Jim can't sign contracts!

Chatty was solid too. Everyone was. Hamonic really stood out though... Had to he his best game

I hate chatfields plays at the blue line. He gets turned around every other play it seems.

This is what passes for "journalism" in the center of the universe. And I thought some our guys were terrible...

He's still bitter that our guys got to "rest" during their horrible COVID outbreak.

Also:  The Leafs have lost 4 in a row...I'd place my concern there if I was him.  The time to gloat is after you've won the playoffs, not because you'll make them.

I won't even respond to this troll any more...he's downright creepy.

Stawns is being delusional. Horrible, dirty, play by Edler. Plain and simple.

Horrible is a little dramatic.   Dirty, maybe yes.   Wonder what you'd think of Kasper's doozies...it's not like Edler is Marchment (who did do this on purpose to lots of players) or Cooke/Torres head hunting bad.   Never would have happened if he wasn't out there that long.   Doesn't make it right...i'm sure the league will suspend him for it too.

It reminds me of when Edler got suspended for hitting Hertl up high. He doesn’t really go out of his way to hit the guy, but he doesn’t do anything to avoid it. He didn’t really do anything malicious. Thought it was weird when they were showing examples of kneeing on the broadcast, none of which were similar to what eagle did.

I thought similar right away too.

Train tracks Eddie.

But he was wrong and did readjust his leg to make contact.. likely has to take a suspension.

Finally... THE BO HAS COME BACK! TO VANCOUVER!

Now let The Bo say this, and the fact of the matter is this: is that The Bo knows this Sunday night, he has his work cut out for him. The Bo knows, he's got other guys he's got to compete with. And even if The Bo has got to beat Auston Matthews, which means, "I'm gonna drink a big glass of milk, eat some chocolate chip cookies and maybe I'll take three Viagra!" Or maybe The Bo has got to face William Nylander, beat Nylander. "I did it.. for The Bo. I did it for the people. I did it for... oh, shut your mouth, you thong wearin' fatty! Or The Bo has to compete with John Tavares: He's the one that goes around saying 'I'm John Tavares, and I'm awesome. I'm awesome. I'm awesome.' I hear that all the time, 'I'm awesome.' Well, The Bo ain't no scientist but he pretty much knows that there's one formula and that's a fact - if you've gotta run around shooting your mouth off, telling everybody how awesome you are, it means you absolutely, undoubtedly, unquestionably, one hundred percent, completely suck!

Vancouver, the world is watching; Vancouver, the world is listening, just as sure as The Vancouver Canucks took out Corona, The Vancouver Canucks just whipped the Maple Leafs' ass!... IF YOU SMELLLLLLL WHAT THE BO. IS. COOKING!

Had to scroll for days to finally find this lol!

These posts never get enough credit. If I could I would give you +3322 Sedinery or +14000 Burrs for it.

So refreshing to see positive content than the usually trolls spreading propaganda.

Long live THE BO! :gocan:
