Canuck players getting cardiology tests before practice this morning (according to radio interview)

After my bout with covid, 10 day coma plus 3-4 added days in ICU. I recall that my heart beat was irregular and was monitored with the goal of stabilizing my BP. My heart rate was erratic at first (fine now, took regular aspirin and lots of water, was low on iron). As well as having my lungs monitored to see my oxygen levels.  After my coma my lungs were around or below. 80 and needed oxygen assistance. Gradually went to .90 and feeling better at around .93-.98 weaned off of oxygen (which was scary) but I was ok.

O2 levels when they drop make exertion that much more difficult ie stairs are harder etc. I hope they have covid specialist measuring where each player is at. And each players capacity to play at peak performance. Guys are going to get winded easily I'd imagine.

Holy $&!# Harry, I hope. U are doing a lot better now.

Doubt it but Foligno is a physical player and playing his 1st game as a Leaf. He'll want to set the tone..

I think Leafs will play physical. Canucks will be sore with a bit of lactic acid after that 1st game.

After a month off and being sick on top 1st game they ran on adrenaline but 2nd game they will be a bit sore and body a bit tight...

lactic acid dissipates within one day of a heavy workout. Muscular pains may persist but totally unrelated.

Looking ahead the Sens are not going to be an easy team.

They’re playing their best hockey of the season right now. Not the same team we faced earlier. Gonna be a very tough test.

We have their number. If the Oilers can sweep them so can we :)

Agree but as long as Murray is the goalie and we have Brock healthy and playing... we gonna get lucky.

With the Habs' latest lost tonight, fate is back in the Canucks' hands. Before, we needed Habs to lose for us to make the playoffs. Now, technically speaking, we don't, so long as we continue to win the five games we have to catch up to them and match them the rest of the way.
