Be like the Canucks and everyone that has had it; "We do not wish it on anyone"

I do not like the Leafs as much as anyone else but the players are people who I wish the best for.

With that said I hope all the best for Hyman (SP)

lactic acid dissipates within one day of a heavy workout. Muscular pains may persist but totally unrelated.

Kirk... you can't begin to imagine how many times I've been thru 1st week of pain after a 3 or 4 week layoff.. when i was 15 rode my bike 3 miles to gym everyday.... i still remember...always tough coming back after a cpl weeks off...

So im past my peak training age. I do jogging more now. Some burpees and pullups 3 times a week .. but jogging.. mostly jogging..

People still sleeping on Myers, he brings value to this team

Yes he sure does.   Keep saying we need more players like him, not less.   If we can have 5 top four D's plus QHs on this team, including one defensive specialist (Mitchell/Muzzin type), it could end up becoming a force.   Our 2011 team was like that, and as far as pay goes I have grown blue in the face comparing the two.  Ballard at 4.5 was a higher cap percentage then Myers currently is.   Flat cap won't help that as much but even with flat cap what those guys made us very similar.  Hamhuis, Bieksa, Erhoff, Salo, Edler etc was quite the top six.   Nothing eye popping, but extremely deep with Ballard as our 7th.     Hoping that's what JB does with this group PLUS QHs.   Schmidt and Myers is a good start.
