Out of our “new” guys I am liking Hawryluk’s game the most

Yeah, he's been pretty decent, plays gritty. I liked Vesey's game as well, think he'll eventually provide more offence. Highmore had a pretty good game as well. I like the players Benning brought in. Imagine if Bowey realizes his potential here. Asking too much?  Not really upset with losing Gaudette.

As long as they approach Ottawa as 'better than Toronto', the Canucks have a good chance.

Ottawa aren't by any stretch 'a joke' or a free win - they started absolutely terribly, but have been playing better as of late (unlike most of the rest of the North).

The Leafs thought Vancouver was a free couple wins, played it as such and look where that went.

Looking for a hard fought game here. Hopefully we come out the right side of it.

Who will be the one??????  (Or more?

Since the covid restart we have 4 players scoring at a goal a game pace:

Horvat, Sutter, Pearson and Hoglander

Who will score in this game?

(And as an aside, how clutch has Bo's line been with 6 goals among them?)

It's funny how much things have changed over the past month or two.

Everyone was certain Toronto and Montreal...the "elite"teams...would just blow right through.  Now that other teams are having to crank their schedules up a bit to match the gruelling intensity of what our guys have gone through, it's funny how some are really starting to struggle.  People who discounted the schedule as "an excuse" are seeing how it really does come into play.  No team is fully equipped to go through this grind unscathed.  A good lesson in this...it ain't over till it's over.  Don't write teams off or pencil them in too quickly.
