Oh how I wish Pettersson was around to enjoy this. To think the Canucks have been without (possibly) their best player for the last 13 games, and then the team gets COVID and everything shuts down for 3 weeks. Then they trade Gaudette and Benn and bring in Highmore, add Boyd, and the Canucks have look like they haven't missed a beat during those two games.

 

I think Miller is a huge influence, his competitiveness, same with Bo. The team has followed and they're playing like they need to win, focused. Canucks also seem to have a tight-knit group, no drama. Even Jake played well, handed out some nice hits.

As crazy as it sounds, but Habs will have 3 games in 4 nights starting today. Canucks plays 2 times during the same time. So,by the end of Saturday Canucks might be just 4 poins out (with 2 wins vs. Ottawa) with 3 games in hand vs. Hubs. So, go Oilers and Flames.

Actually we would have 5 games in hand which would be crazy.

 

That being said I doubt the Habs lose 3 in a row. Plus Ottawa will be tough to beat right now.

 

If we can gain two points on them and have 5 games in hand by the end of the week that would be a very good spot to be.
