But but but.   PEARSON!!!

Whaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

someone had to post his name in this thread...Pearson has a much more proven track record but in Covid flat cap times, I doubt a team offers him what JB did with his current stat line for the year. Happy Pearson is here, just wish it would have been less term at that cap hit or a lower cap hit for 3 years term.

But, it is what it is and we truck forward cheering for the team regardless of who the GM, Coach or players are...because we LOVE the Canucks and if you don't GTFO!

Ayyyy there we go, I can get behind that!

For real though, very good deal for Minnesotta Wild, he's a pretty good pest.  He was pretty annoying in our series against them when we spanked the Wild.

You see when you dive and nothing gets called, cause even blind Canuck-hating refs can tell you’re diving, you have to double-down and leave the ice instead of getting up and looking like a total Asshat.

Wait a second, isn't that kind of money supposed to get you a great player? The cap is flat; really good players are inevitably going to be desperate for whatever loose change teams are willing to give, no?

Just how gritty is he?

Is he mascot material? Potential Philly trade in the works?

It is perhaps well known by now, that JB is willing to pay for intangibles (despite the on ice production); good chance, we see more of the vets being re signed & eating up the minutes unless a rookie forces himself into the lineup - basically, more of the same winning enviroment (but who knows, maybe it will be a good season next year ?).
