I delivered papers in LA as a kid. 54 houses huge papers on Wed/Sun. I  ended up with a few extra papers every month. Not sure why. So I added a few of my own subscribers (ahem) and collected from them every month as per  it was like a 15$ bonus every month. 

I sincerely regret my decisions as a youngster.

I collected bottles for the Scouts. I was not a scout. I also regret my early childhood decisions around Abbotsford. Sorry townsfolks, I wouldn't do it again, if that helps.

you guys are being too hard on yourselves. A buddy of my uncle's in Saskatchewan was the manager of a small grocery store, in the pre-computerized inventory days. He added an extra checkout lane for himself, and didn't get caught for a couple of years. Now thats a skim.
