Hopefully this means Lind plays.

Silovs obviously will dress since he’s needed to back up Holtby, due to the Demko lower body injury at the morning skate.

Predictable boring coach Beige will not play this kid I would put money on that.

I hope this is a straight swap for Vesey, let's see what Lind can do in our top-6. Boeser and Miller might really benefit from his playmaking and high hockey IQ...you never know, he may well stick for a bit or he could look totally out of place.

While I'm all for seeing what Lind can do, I'm not sure he should be thrown in a top 6 role. He plays a game that is suitable for lower lines and I'd rather see him start there and see how he performs against NHL competition first with sheltered minutes.

Still, he can't be any less productive than Jake or Vesey.

Yes i hope Lind gets 13--15 mins for good 5 game look in top 6...We should have good read on Lind for expansion draft..

1. Petey, 2.Boeser 3.Horvat 4. Miller   5. Pearson or Motte   ?    (D -Men ) - 6.Scmidt 7.Myers 8. Julevi    Goalie -9 Demko...

Not protected -

Virtanen -- Maybe package in trade before expansion?

Pearson  or Motte -- I think Seattle takes either of these guys ?

MacEwen 6'3 --

Lind

Remember when we thought vesey was good.

We weren't right.

He hasn't looked good at all. I was trying to be positive. But he's flubbing the puck all over!! Him and JV both need to sit next game. Bring Lind and big Mac back in!

I would be surprised if Lind doesn't draw in next game.  I'm assuming management wants to see how Lind performs at the NHL level and this seems like the ideal time to do so.  I get that the team feels like it's still in the race for a playoff spot, and statistically they do still have a shot, but it would seem to me that playing someone like Lind should give the Canucks at least an added boost in energy which they have clearly been lacking, as well as skill which has also been depleted in the line-up.  I agree with others who say that Lind should probably draw in instead of Vesey.  I would take Highmore out but he's actually been decent in a purely defensive/energy role and I think he's a better option than Vesey in that role.

He's a better asset for shooting than playmaking. Nothing about his passing is screaming high iq, but his movement off the puck and his release off a one timer is definitely nhl ready. His passing might be his weakness at the nhl level.

Lower your expectations if you think he's gonna be a great playmaker. He's on Tanner Pearson's level in that regard in my opinion.

We should leave Myers exposed. I highly doubt Seattle will pick a 31 year old, average defender making 6 milllion per year. Only GMJB is dumb enough to hand out that kind of contract.

Yep. And people are wondering why Green hasn’t been re-signed yet.

What, have people not noticed it is a pandemic world, with less money floating around?

If so, they seem a little dense, ripe picking in a poker game.

And not sign Toffoli to 4.25.. but then give Pearson 3.25..  which ok but Toffoli 1 mill more all day anyday.

In hindsight probably would have traded Gaud/Virtanen last off-season and re-signed Tofu.

Rather would have a 2nd line with Pearson/Tofu and push Hoglander to the 3rd line. Bottom 6 needs some offensive jump.

Hey what happened to your claim that Greener benches young guys for fighting? Remember?

Jake was not benched and was put out in the last 2 minutes with extra skater, surprise surprise

Thats fact

Your level of hate for Greener is over the top and your ridiculous claims are bogus
