r/hockey - A comparison between the number of goals and total salary for Toffoli and six Canucks [French source]

Not enough buts / 60 on this team.

That's dirty!  2 minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct  :)

I'm actually pulling for Montreal and Winnipeg to win it all, but Montreal's long term cap situation looks worst then ours.  They have Weber signed for 7.8 mil/year for the next FIVE years!  He's going to be 40 in his last year with Montreal.

Carey Price also has five more years at 10.5 mil/year and he's already 33 years old.

It is time to UTILIZE this "Taxi Squad"

Rotate players in and out of the line up the rest of the year. Gives some younger prospect a handful of games to get their feet wet, while resting the team to try and avoid any late season injuries during this schedule.

We need a guy with size who olays with an edge

Already have a hughes and a Rathbone at LD ..

Need a physical type. Were too soft

Luke does play a bit more physical than Quinn, but less offensive upside.

Pathetic performance reflective of our pathetic coaching

We lose 3 in a row to Ottawa and delusional followers of Green want to extend him?

People on here think Montreal has it all, but in reality, they are in a whole lot of trouble if they don't make the playoffs, OR win the Stanley Cup. The cap situation is just awful. And Montreal's only 10 points above us. The only thing that Montreal does have is/was Toffoli.

If anything, I loved Greene being pissed off and continues it, Hopefully it lights some kind of fire for our beer league team.

Beer league quality coach putting on a save his job show for the camera

he should have been yelling at himself and his assistants for their lack of ability to prepare their team for the game

green, said he won't put rookies into games and just feed them to the wolves. he wants them to have a positive experience, so he says they will only get a chance if they outplay thier peers.

he also says he watches the young guys practise and they would have been in some games if he felt they could help the team win

That’s a mistake IMO. Players are gonna continue to get more drained at this rate and with this schedule ramping up.

Personally I would rather focus on next year.
