Lol and life sucks right? Do you also think they putting tracking devices in the vaccines to track u?... Brutal post man. SMH.

This group earned everything and was 1 period away from the West final... We saw THREE thrilling series and from all that excitement and amazing games, during a lockdown, you somehow turn it into a bad thing and say we got lucky to get in? That series against minny pushed the team to the limits.

Dominated but made it go game 7? Looolololol

Bad post amigo.

Actually life is great. Retired in my late 40's, lots of time to spend with the wife and kids, coach hockey, and build stuff in my shop.

Not sure why you think I am a conspiracy theory clown but nope i believe in vaccines pal.

The team played like $&!# against Vegas. Demko playing like a god was literally the only reason they won those games and got as far as they did. Very few others actually played well and the Canucks were absolutely dominated in most areas of the game on that series.

They did get lucky to get in. Without the shut down and play in I doubt they would have even made it. And Minny was decidedly average so beating them wasnt a huge accomplishment.  The team played pretty well against STL but its not like STL played well.

Therecis a difference between being lucky and being competitive. As we have seen all too many times this season, theCanucks are not a consistent, competitive team.

we don't know the price and term, it could be a low 1 or 2 year offer that he walks from.

It's sad to see a contract extension on TG but if this is actually true it should be a low ball offer and for only 1-2 years,  We have almost $40M coming off the books in players contracts this year and next and if JB makes some good decisions we might be in a more competitive situation in 2-3 years - just in time for us to hire a NHL caliber coach - although it's probably better to bring a new coach next year after we've purged a few old/deadwood players.

Hopefully this leads to a win for the Canucks. But it certainly says a lot about how serious Toronto is taking Vancouver.

Deja vu from 2016-17.

Those were not meaningful games/wins in March when all the teams back then were just resting their starters vs us and looking ahead to playoffs.

If anything they cost us our draft positions.

...or that they just clinched yesterday and want to give some guys some rest.  I'd imagine you see them get most of their guys a few games off in the next 8.

lets see how it all shakes out. If we only retain Green and Clarke and get in new blood that's fine too.

We'll definitely see if there is validity in the rumor that Aquilini is looking to cheap out on his next coach and may hire a no name rookie.

I'm definitely for removing the asst. coaches though.

Last time I checked, the last number indicated OT and shootout losses.

Agreed.

Media still always calls it a .500 record when there’s a bunch of OT losses, it drives me crazy.

OT wins go in the win column, but OT losses are considered the same as pre-2005 ties. It’s dumb.

Next year a team goes 0-0-82 - oh nice, a .500 club!

I don't believe the Aquilini being cheap rumours, it doesn't jive with his history, and the source for that was Dhaliwal who can be a drama queen.

Keene knows he has a lot of options and wants to keep a healthy competition among the group.
