I think they need to consider a stable vet like Loui Eriksson first.

perfect fit to mentor the kraken, ill miss him when they pick him up just such a great 2way player for the kids to learn, hopefully the GMs of kraken dont see this and snatch him from us. 11/10 player.

You guys have to start coming up with jokes/trash talk now. They are gonna be one of our top rivals. They are closest team to us. Both of our logos are sea animals/monsters. We are the only two teams along the pacific northwest coast. We could be seeing a contingent of Kraken fans invade our arena in the future.

This is an official of declaration of war.

It’s gonna be like Toronto or Montreal when they visit...half our barn flips colours!

We must protect the front gates at all costs!

Use forks and knives if we have to!

plastic of course, don’t want anyone losing an eye....

Over / under The Kraken win the Stanley Cup before the Canucks?

More than likely - like with Vegas their entry draft rules are designed to make the strong out the door. Maybe not as strong as Vegas were with all the side deals but with good management they should be able to flip a few players, get picks etc and ice a competitive team

Maybe if the GM's smartened up they won't do side deals and Seattle won't be strong as Vegas was.

I waited until almost training camp to ask this.

Is it just me, or does it look like the Kraken might suck?

Concensus among the fans I am in contact with is that they will be top 10 in defence, top 10 in goal and bottom 10 in scoring.  That suggests a bubble playoff team. Winning games 2 -1 and losing them 3 - 2, that seems to be their expectations.  Their defence is patterned after Tampa's - Giordano at 6'1" will be their smallest, with Oleksiak at 6'7", Soucy 6'5", and Borden, Fleury and Larsson all at 6'3"   That's some heft right there!!
