Down by the River Posted May 6, 2021 Share Posted May 6, 2021 It's hilarious that the NHL has such a long history of sending their head of Player Safety to games as if that is somehow going to impact how players play. I totally get that DoPS is a thankless job, but its really weird that they consistently hire basically the most biased players that they could possibly find. Guys like Lidstrom and Selanne are obviously probably above the job, but its that type of player that went through the grind of the 90s but also managed to play clean that I would want making suspension decisions.
