They say your goaltender should be your best penalty... scorer... I think.

I'm laughing and I noticed I'm not caring as much as I used to but I honestly hope that apathy hasn't set in on the players. Once that happens to a sports team, that's a toxic culture and all the years of overpaying for vets would have done absolutely nothing...

The fact that it's only 2-1 speaks well of our guys. This year with so much adversity will pay dividends down the road with our young guys as they mature.

I really hope so.  Next year they’re going to come back a lot closer having gone through this, I hope.

Signing Vesey is something I can see this team doing in the off-season....

Highmore is the only one I'd gamble on. Mac doesn't look like he belongs as an everyday NHLer.

a legit question What does McDavid do to move faster than others?

He isn't taller than most he is average so his stride isn't any longer...

His thighs aren't that much bigger he doesn't look ripped he is pretty skinny so its not muscle mass..

It can't be how fast he moves his legs because runners are taught to take longer strides and avoid quick strides because many strides kill your energy so it can't be how quick he moves his feet..

Is there some technique only he has figured out?

Edgework and using his calves to extend his stride. He also moves his feet more than most skaters. A lot of players don't extend their toes out when they skate though and he does.

That's as good a guess from nhl players as I've seen. They had a breakdown from a skating instructor in the playoffs in their 2017 run I believe.

Weird thing for me is....of all the concerts I've seen I've been to only ONE at the Commodore.  That's sad.  Plenty at The Smiling Buddha (and another seedy place where we'd go down stairs to a basement?  Saw punk bands there...maybe that WAS the Smiling Buddha?).

Next one I want to go to is Clutch.

Also:  will never tire of Fortunate Son...I love Clutch's version of it.
