Both Boeser and Bo used to drive the play a lot more because they were relied on by the team to be the guys to put up points. Now that there's other players for that they don't try to take over games much anymore. We see flashes of it when they're streaking hot but when they're not it's kind of sad to see them spoil their potential.

1. not a very quick decision maker. He hesitates way too much with the puck. 
 

2. not the greatest skater.

 

3. not aggressive enough on the puck. If he wants a full time job he’s going to have to grind it out and be harder on the forecheck.
