Jim won’t resign, he learned from some of the best in the biz like Loui.

Why quit when you can sit there and collect a paycheque or force them to buy you out.

No buyout on coaches and coaching staff.

They get fired and collect their normal salary for remaining contract..

Second or Third round pick, Samuel Helenius?

6'6" 201 lbs centre

Bob Mac has him ranked 43rd. 13 goals, 24 points in 19-20.

Only 7 goals, 7 assists in 54 games this year. But 61 PIMs.

Maybe the kind of big physical guy we need on the forward line. Someone who could fill in on 3rd or 4th line as a centre?

Or maybe Colton Dach from Saskatoon Blades. 6'4" 205 lbs. 11 goals in 20 games this year.

I'm looking at centre depth as much as defence in my view.

The common problem with this type of guy is that he's a sub-par skater. Looks like he knows what he's doing, seems to have a decent head for the game, but can't get around. A project player who retires still a project.

Turn back the clock pre Covid, before all the built in excuses

We were still losing more than winning and still missing the playoffs

yet people still want JB to extend Green

you want another season like the last 4 years?

Seriously?

but i better be careful if I don’t drink the Koolaid and only say positive things

It's been a while since I have heard you say it - could you please confirm the spelling of your name....it's Jeff with a J, and Paterson with one T, correct?

We were actually 36-27-6 last season (you know, pre-covid, built in excuses etc...). Blind hate. Again.

I liked Travis' testiness when responding to the scribes in the post game two nights ago regarding JT. But, that's just me!

Can you imagine what it takes to sit down with the in depth questioning he has to go thru post game? How he does I don't know. The players are no different as most can hardly wait to be done. Media availability must be an NHL rule.

None of this matters as I just listened to Clint Eastwood singing about trees. Seriously thru me for a loop. Ruined my day.

Canucks should be playing 5 prospects a game (Joulevi included in that group). Rotate sitting vets to make room. If any vet questions such a move I would question why you want them? The Club has had a tough year, much of it nothing to do with their play. That said the Canucks have to build towards CUP contention and playing prospects give them the opportunity to do that. It improves their development and gives them something to build off of. If it causes the Canucks to finish lower in the standings so be it.
