Did you see that highlight in slow motion.. nurse asking Mac for a fight.. cross checking slashing him.. Mac don't want that...

That's because Nurse was already getting a penalty. Mac has to stay in the lineup and drawing extra minutes to win the game is what's keeping him in the lineup sadly because Green doesn't trust him on anything other than a 4th line.

Edit: look to see them fight once the game winds down and the victory isn't in jeapordy. Ten minutes left type stuff.

Didn't get to say this because I was gone but:

That McDavid interference on Leon's goal was a joke

Nurse is a POS and I love MacEwen for being like "y'all see this?? y'all gonna do something about it??" to the refs

Rathbone's goal was pretty

Screw the Oilers

Which way is the 3rd going to go? We belly flop on the coming storm, or hold the fort long enough for them to get really frustrated and spill over?

Edit. Giddy up. This period is going to a good one!

Big Mac driving Nurse crazy ... love it!!!

Yep. Should be a great third. Easy money is on Zack. Nurse has horrible fighting mechanics. And his bow legs drop him down 2 inches as well. Should be entertaining watching his face cave in.

Why won't he fight nurse then. What happened after Edler got beat up by Simmonds. Nothing.

Because he's intelligent. That was 100% strategic. Got a double minor for Nurse taking a run at him and made Nurse give him 2 min back. That was by design and 0% chance he's scared of Nurse. They may even go in the 3rd so we'll see.

A healthy Sutter is a hell of a player.  Unfortunately, we've only seen a healthy Sutter a small fraction of his time here.

Regardless - I'd bring him back at the right (discounted due to the above) price.

We're going to continue to need 'foundation' for a few more years - particularly at bottom 6 C - and particularly if Beagle isn't going to be healthy.

There aren't a lot of guys that will be hitting the FA market with his skillset - arguably the best of them, Lowry - is already re-signed - and not a lot of guys like Richie and Thompson out there.
