Well if that's not obvious cap circumvention, then I don't know what is. Magically, 2 star players at 18 million cap show up, just for the playoffs? Sure it's in the rules, but so was the Luongo contract. Even forfeiting their draft picks for 3 years wouldn't be enough to cover this kind of scam. Of course, they will probably do nothing about it.

I was thinking the exact same thing

Apparently it is in the spirit of the league and rules to circumvent the cap all season and return to play 1st playoff game, when cap is not relevant

You know if the Canucks do this the 1st time we win the Cup, They will be taking it away from us
