Habs are built for the playoffs.  Toronto still has huge question marks in goal and Nylander and Rielly are both massive liabilities.  Price and Montreal's rock solid D will be too much for the Laffs to overcome.  Canadiens in 6.

I think Toronto's addition of Simmonds, Spezza, and Thorton will help the Leafs though. Locker room guys that have some tangible results.

Thornton has severe character issues and a history of not delivering in the playoffs though.

The Habs fired the coach who had a bad streak of losing mini-games that have no significance come playoff time. The habs were very good during the first 60 minutes under Julien and have been worse since firing him - by a decent margin.

I would have taken a Julien coached Habs over Toronto but the post-Julien habs are not good

Mostly because Gallagher and Weber have missed significant time.  They're still playing against a team with absolutely terrible defense and goaltending.

Hoping the Leafs choke, however the way the Habs have been playing lately this series could be over in a hurry.

Montreal had been playing 4 games a week for close to 5 weeks after their covid shutdown.  They were also missing Price, Weber, Gallagher, Byron for most of it. Plus Drouin, Danault, Tatar, have all missed time in that run.  They have time to rest snd get healthy right now.  I wouldn’t rule out a good series.

Leafs in 5. Should be easy work considering how MTL has played for the past month.

They’ve been laying a very condensed schedule the last month due to their covid shutdown.  And they e been playing missing a good chunk of their top players.  If they get rested and healthy before game one it could be a good series
