Toronto chit the bed giving massive money to players who didnt earn it. If nylander took the 5-6, marner the 6-7, matthews 8-10 like they have actually earned for their regular season talent. Toronto would have saved enough right there ( plus not giving multiple old geezer plugs 1m ea ) and had a solid bottom 6 and / a real defense.

10-15 years from now tononto is going to regret letting this kyle dumbass in charge. Chayka and this guy have both shown, I really don't think GM is a young guys thing.
