Popular Post UTICANUCK
Many thanks to the Canucks organization for bringing AHL hockey back to both Utica and Syracuse, two former EHL rivals when Slap Shot was real, not just a movie. When the Devils left Utica many years ago it wasn't long after that NJ captured it's first Stanley Cup with former Utica Devil Martin Brodeur anchoring the net. May Thatcher Demko be your Brodeur and lead you to your first cup. 19 2 24 4

The devils have a lot of great prospects, so I'm certain that you guys will enjoy some very entertaining hockey in the seasons to come. Thanks for keeping us abreast with the Comets throughout the years.

King Heffy
Thanks for being good to our prospects and providing them with a place to grow away from our media, in front of fans who know and love the game.
Heretic
Maybe if we had the Hanson brothers we would have a cup!
Coconuts
I'll be rooting for you guys, thanks for being such great fans and supporting our boys over in Utica! I wish we'd renewed the affiliation agreement, but it is what it is. All the best!
Ghostsof1915
Vancouver has been lucky with 2 of the last 3 AHL stops. (Chicago was a more of a rental?) Both the Moose and Comets were great for our prospects. And the fans in Utica are fantastic. Lots of luck to you, and thanks for treating our prospects well.

CanuckleHorse
I loved the fans of Utica and their dedication it amazed me to see how the whole city embraced their comets.

Yeah... It is to bad the fans in BC are not as positive as they are in Utica. Fans came out and cheered on the team and sold the place out for many years regardless of how the team was doing. IMO, much more deserving than the many "entitled" ones that constantly come on here and whine and complain about just about everything. They should be glad that we actually have NHL hockey here.
DSVII
I've never had a bad interaction with any fan of Utica, you've always been so knowledgable, classy and eager to share every little detail of our guys playing for your team. I wish you all success, hope the Devils take good care of you. They're lucky to have you!

Undrafted
I almost never post anything any more but add me to the list of Canucks fans who fully appreciated the fans in Utica. You guys were awesome to both our prospects and us here on the forum with your posts. While I'm kinda sad that our affiliation is over, I'm very glad for you that hockey will remain in Utica.
Googlie
Utica ..... a city I have never been to, and yet I feel that I know so many of you who cheered on our Comets. Watching as the camera panned round the crowd during stoppages, seeing the kids hamming it up for us, seeing the vets just look at the camera and give a thumbs up, the energy and enthusiasm of the cheerleaders, the promotional giveaways and, yes, the kiss-cam, I feel like you are family. Family I will miss, 'cos there will never be a fan base as engaged as you guys are. Best of luck with the next chapter in your story (and wouldn't it be awesome if we met in the finals!!!)
