Yeah good luck with that lineup and making playoffs. I just dont have high hopes for this team and defense that was worst than last year. Last year we had stecher, Tanev and 2 great goalies. We just keep getting worst on the back end. I hope Benning gets fired so we can have some hope of this team to finally become a contender. I vehementely disagree with bringing back Edler and Sutter. Their time is up, just bring up the kids at this point ready or not.We cant be playing Edler again, we need speed back there and someone that is more reliable. Play Joulevi or Woo, so they can learn the NHL game. No point playing Edler and still missing playoffs with him playing 30 minutes. Its insanity to bring same players back and accept different results especially when Benning the genius let Tanev and Toffoli, key players of our team walk for nothing.

Lots of examples of teams other than Buffalo that have tanked and are now reaping the results. Everyone drools over Colorados roster, how do you think they got where they are?

 

Fans being okay with this are exactly the reason why ownership never commits to a full rebuild.
 

No one is saying they have to try and lose all they have to do is play rookies high minutes and it will take care of itself. It’s literally what every other non playoff team is doing but no apparently we have too much pride...

Colorado rebuild has been rebuilding for nearly a decade with ups and downs. Including some calling for Sakic’s head.

I put next to no stock in a couple of goals when Highmore did literally nothing offensively with that top 6 spot when the games actually mattered. He has had a long look in the top 6 already. 

 

Getting Gadjovich, Lockwood, and Lind in to see what they can do means next to nothing if they are on the 4th line with Boyd and Vesey. The better play is to give them some top 6 minutes with good players and see what they can do. Evaluate for next year.

 

If the decision that Highmore is top 6 material is already made then this team is not going far next year. Good bottom 6 guy, doesnt do enough offensively consistently enough to be a lock for a top 6 role.

 

Pearson-Horvat-Highmore is a 3rd line in the NHL on a good team, not a 2nd line. And those two wingers are a waste of Bo's prime years if he is expected to be centering a shutdown line.

Well, I guess we need to lose 3 in a row now, great.  Put Vesey in net!  

 

Moving from draft spot 4 to 9 is not going to help. And with Seattle expansion pick, that means 5 to10. Add in 2 lottery bumps and it's 7 to 12. We are definitely picking 12. It's the Canuck way to lose the worst way possible.

We can’t get Gadjovich Lockwood and Lind in until the conclusion of the AHL season.
