"Now I been lookin' for a job but it's hard to find
Down here it's just winners and losers and
Don't get caught on the wrong side of that line
Well I'm tired of comin' out on the losin' end
So honey, last night I met this guy
And I'm gonna do a little favour for him"

I love Springsteen and his work.

But I do like The Band's version of Atlantic City.

Maybe it's because Levon Helm had a awesome voice.

Making women wet and weep since 1965.  Haven’t been able to properly upload videos on iPad for a couple of years.  Anyway links to The late Bobby Hatfield singing the live version of “Unchained Melody”

For those that don't know the back story

Eric co-wrote this song as a tribute to his 4 year old son who fell fifty stories to his death.

The Anthony Jesselnik bit on that song is pure gold.

Sung by Mary Duff.....

Very Haunting

Gurn has already posted the song you mentioned.

I find this song by the same band very emotive.

Can I face the day
When I'm tortured in my trust
And watch it crystalize
While my salvation it crumbles to dust

Why can't I steer the ship before it hits the storm
I've fallen to the sea but still I swim for shore

Tell me when the kiss
Of love becomes a lie
That bears the scar of sin too deep
To hide behind this fear
Of running unto you
Please let there be light
In a darkened room
