I don’t disagree, but it’s the next series where the Avs will suffer from the effects of that one Graves hit.

Avs can handle themselves.

Only real toughness the Knights have shows up when the game is over. Jumping guys with the refs holding them is also not toughness.

Knights are a bunch of frontrunners and always have been.

Everything's all fine and dandy when things go their way, but once you get them on their heels they come unhinged like this. Getting owned by the Caps in the Cup Final, all the blown 3-1 series leads, Demko getting in their heads, and now this.

Exactly.  Just like the Knight’s player didn’t see the Graves’ hit coming, so will an Avs’ player not see what’s coming to them.  It will be a knee, or a head shot, or a slash on the wrist.  But an Avs’ top player will pay the price for the Graves’ hit.  And the Avs’ team will pay the price in the next round.  Hopefully it’s not against the hated Leafs.

I'd love to see Vegas get embarrassed this entire series. Reaves basically cranked the guy's neck to one extreme and had his knee on him at another point.

Avs are so damn good. I thought Tampa was impressive but man, Avs are nuts.

It wasn't about that...let's keep it real.  It was because they were being totally embarrassed on the scoreboard.

Basically trying to be the 2011 Bruins except they’re not as good.

They think they are, thanks to all the money  Bill Foley paid to Bettman and to the big-name free agents.

Vegas will be in cap hell in a few years, still without a cup and the team toiling at the bottom of standings.

Deboer:  "Emotions got away".    Ya think?    But that bonehead Reaves needs to not pout then lash out because his team's getting clobbered.  He's a ticking time bomb just looking for an excuse to go off.  Anger management, it's a thing.

I want the Avs to be a full team, with all their top guys in their next series, especially if it’s against the Leafs.  That Graves’ hit lessened the chances the Avs come out of this series with all their top players.  It was a bad and totally unnecessary play.  Hopefully Mackinnon or Makar don’t pay the price for that Graves’ poor play.

Exactly!  Reeves is a ticking time bomb, and Graves stupidly lit the fuse.  It wasn’t the score that was the spark; it was the Graves’ bad hit earlier in the game.  The score just created the opportunity.

Don't make excuses and connect dots...they lost their stuff when they were being totally undressed by the Avs.

The Graves things happened in the second at the 8 minute mark....Reaves did his thing at the 8 minute mark IN THE THIRD.  Delayed reaction?  Usually a rage created by an incident gets a more immediate reaction.  Reaves doesn't seem the type to patiently "wait" for one.

No.  The score was embarrassing the Golden Boys and that's how they responded.

That was Reaves being a pouty baby poor sport.  It's what he does.  He just used it as an excuse, that's all.

The lopsided score created the opportunity, but make no mistake the Graves’ hit lit the fuse.  Reeves went after Graves, right?
