If I remember correctly, EA had removed it for a few years and then re-introduced it as a "new enhancement".

The team knew full well that that would be the outcome, can't blame the league or Vegas.

Just like people can't blame Vegas for being so good when they literally took the players other team's were begging and paying them to take. I find it funny how people say it was rigged when pretty much every team was able to protect the player they wanted to protect.  

I am talking about Game 1 of the series. That's before the the rescheduling. They could've easily made hour game on Monday instead of Sunday after the team came off of a grueling series against St Louis on Friday night. It is after Game 2 that's when they had to reschedule due to the opt out.
