86Viking
Canucks need a decent #3C, so I propose this. Canucks trade: Roussel 3m for 1 year (cap purposes) OJ 900k for Chris Tierney 3.5m Risky move to trade OJ who might still have top 4 upside with PK ability but coach Green benched him this year and looks like Rathbone has surpassed him. Add on to that its highly likely JB brings back Elder. Bit of a risk as Tierney is a UFA next summer but JB might see him as Sutter 2.0 Mr. Foundational and extend him right away?
wildcam
I think we can find a better player..So many team will have players they can't protect.. Example, Appleton 24, 6'2 C, RW, very fast plays a 200 foot game ...2021-22 --900,000.. GP 56 -- G 12 -- 25 points playing 3rd line --Looks of skill... Sure, regardless JB should be ultra aggressive looking to upgrade the D and F pre expansion draft imo! Then he can sit on his hands in FA and maybe bargain hunt after the first few days
Phil_314
Not a bad proposal for Vancouver. I'm still mildly reluctant to move Juolevi, also still see some top-4 minute capability in him (and I don't really want Edler back given how he slowed) but if they can bring in someone like Forbort for some toughness on the bottom 2 pairings on the left side (and we can shed Roussel who looked pretty bad this year), then that would make moving Olli more palatable. Wonder if Ottawa would do it though, their left side could be set with Chabot, Brannstrom (former 1st round pick) and Mete (picked up from Montreal and looked good).
Pears
I think this is pretty close to fair value. I’d want to see what Juolevi looks like as a fulltime NHLer before looking at moving him but value-wise it isn’t bad.

I don't want to give up on him either, another high pick being a bust would suck. But, Green as of this year didn't seem to have confidence in playing OJ and he is only going to get better or learn from his rookie mistakes if the coach shows the belief in said player to put him back out on the ice and let him work through it. He plays wing at this level from what I can see (has taken 27 faceoffs total in 3 seasons) and isn’t a defensive player. He isn’t a big physical guy either. Tierney would be a much better fit to to me. We need a defensive specialist who can kill penalties and take those duties from Horvat. If we had Tierney and Sutter (on a really cheap contract) as our bottom two centres that would be pretty solid.
