at least he's showing up in the playoffs, thats decent, how was he over all during the reg season, i watched alot of the games just never focused on one player while watching them

I didn’t watch him in Buffalo. He wasn’t very good in his 21 reg season games with Montreal but that’s when they were playing 5 games every 8 nights for 5 weeks and were battling injuries.

Exactly what I said in an earlier post. I believe the league is making an example of Sheifele, because they hate the optics of a guy going off on a stretcher. All other contributing factors (precedent, the player's intent, the player's history) go out the window.

To me, it's pretty much textbook unfairness.

While I find the suspension appropriate - there's no way in hell I could consider the "DOPS" consistent - so you have a valid point in questioning relative fairness - and it's difficult to reconcile the two because really, they are separate points in a sense.  In isolation the hit deserved the suspension - but how does that decision measure up in terms of consistency.

Realistically, this suspension should not be an exception/outlier/"example" - but it could be - because we've all seen how inconsistent DOPS has been.

He looked so bad in his first several games with Montreal.  But he’s really turned it on

yeah - can't say I'd care much about the small sample regular season.

Staal in last year's playoffs = the Wild's best forward.

4 games

5 points = lead Minnesota

27.5% ozone starts
