And there it is.... thanks for making my point.

The point being made is you're overvaluing these prospects. Where's the value of Juolevi ?

Is it because he did "Just Ok" in the OHL ? Or because he finished 308th in scoring in the AHL in his highest scoring season ? What makes him valuable enough to be the key piece in a Seth Jones deal ? The fact that he was drafted too high doesn't give him any value. Maybe it's that his plus minus in the pros is -21 that he's so valuable.

You can't put a disclaimer that people will react accordingly because of your own agenda. Trash is trash and he's a project, CBJ will want more then a projects and some 4 line grinders to get Seth Jones.

Juolevi just turned 23 years old.  That's another thing, so many CDCers give up on our prospects before they've even had a chance.  Sedins are a prime example.  They were ridiculed and thrown under buses left and right for years!

If you've actually paid attention when OJ plays, you can see quite clearly that he will become a steady Top 4 defenceman with very good vision and mobility.  He has way more value than what Canucks fans make him out to be.  And seriously?  You rank him based on his scoring prowess?  You do realize he's a defenceman right? LMAO.

And what about Kole Lind and Jonah Gadjovich?  Oh right, they're garbage too.  Especially Gadjovich, his garbage output of 15 goals in 19 games this year makes him clearly a POS prospect.  Kole Lind too... 52pts in his last 69gms in the AHL and previously 95pts in 58gms in the WHL make him a worthless pile too.

Don't get me started on the draft picks.  A 40th overall pick is also worthless, it's not in the Top 39.  Oh, and a 1st round pick next year is crap too... I understand now.

Juolevi will likely never become the 5OA player he was drafted to be, but I could definitely see him becoming a player like Alec Martinez or Jonas Brodin.  Very serviceable and quality Top 4 defenceman with good size, plenty of mobility, and excellent puck moving abilities.  The LAST thing Juolevi is is TRASH though.  That's the problem I have with your assessment.

When Jones was Juolevi's age he was already a 40-50 point defenseman. Lind, Gadjovich and Juolevi have very little trade value, they are probably worth the equivalent of mid/late round pick. They certainly would not move the needle in a trade for Seth Jones. Jone is probably a bit overrated but no way he is traded without a guaranteed 1st or a top prospect going back the other way.

So by mid/late round pick, are you saying Juolevi, Lind, and/or Gadjovich could be had for a 4th to 7th round pick?

Yes, that's where I would put their value if we were looking to trade them. Similar to when the we traded for Pouliot, Leipsic, etc. But, given our lack of depth we're probably better off holding onto them at that price. If you think they're worth more than that, how about changing your proposal to add 3 2nd round picks and take Juolevi, Lind, Gadjovich out.

Tell that to Canucks management.  Team can't be bothered to clear up a few hundred K in cap space to get him needed icetime.  He ain't developing watching game videos/practice.  He's 23 years old and still hasn't played a freaking full professional season in North America.

Wrong.. Not giving up but you can't trade him on the potential of him being decent for a #1 Defenseman.
