Now they have Caufield

And their young guns will only get better around the solid veteran group they have.

Their forwards aren’t crazy scorers like a TBL but they can muck and grind just as good as most teams.

That D core to is arguably as good, if not a bit better, than Vegas’s and Price has shown the ability to step up huge.

JB take note.  Build a team that can roll all 4 foward lines, solid 6 D, and a #1 goalie.

JB: "But how do I do that?... Any ideas, John?"

JW: "Just call random 30+ years old UFAs and offer them 6x6. You never know."

1) He let Toffoli go, so Berg picked him up for free. Good on Berg

2) He drafted Podkolzin over Caufield (NOTE: Not saying we shouldve drafted Caufield, but Jim was one of 14 GM's to pass on him sliding him to Berg. Good for Berg.)

3) Can we sign Perry as a free agent. He would be a GREAT MENTOR for the canucks young core. I wouldn't mind overpaying him too for 1-2 season.

What a god Berg is.

Early in the season Perry was put on waivers and his agent quietly called teams and asked them out of respect not to claim him. I doubt he wants to go anywhere unless he’s not offered a contract.
