I think that AHL would've been better about 5 years ago as recently we've seen a lot of European players going back to play in Europe/KHL as opposed to toiling in the smaller North American cities. I've seen some preliminary numbers being thrown out there that show prospects having a bigger chance of success if they develop overseas as opposed to AHL.
