My bet, which is worthless, additional transactions:

2 ufa forwards (probably 3-4 additional fringe forwards via ufa)

1 ufa d

5 dman get traded for 2 forwards and 3 picks

1 more tendy comes in

1 more tendy goes out

I think the Kraken are saving their cap space to offer sheet Petey.

How many years are Seattle guaranteed a lottery pick?  As much as I love Petey, I'd be tempted to not match given how strong the next two drafts look at the top.

Exactly. Not a risk at all.

Kinda happy Holtby is staying. Will see what happens by training camp if JB moves him. I think Demko is ready for next step, but last season he wasn't quite yet. Holts was up and down, but he arguably won the most meaningful game of the season, that first post Covid outbreak game.  Having the duo will be key to making the playoffs.  It took Marky a while to be that bona-fide starter.

I see 2 2nd liners, and a handful of third liners at F. Really am surprised they didn't take Tarasenko. Also thought Bishop would have been their target out of Dallas...

There roster looks bad aside from the defense, but we gotta wait & see what trades they've pulled off. No doubt there's some in the bag.

John Shannon also tweeted they've signed 3 more UFA's in addition to Larsson & Dreidger - (Oleksiak + 2 more) - which could be concerning.

That said they didn't take as much talent as Vegas did, and I find it hard to believe they'll build a great forward group through Free Agency.

I'd assume it's Quenneville and Bayreuther that he's talking about as both were UFA's. If they had agreed to deals with Landeskog or any others, those players would've been considered their selections from their respective teams. Maybe I'm wrong but I think this is part of the expansion draft rules.

8 pm EST 5pm Pacific.

For some reason I thought it was around noon today. I checked yesterday and realized the correct time was 5.

If that's the case Francis better have a rabbit in his hat regarding side-deals.

Then again they do have cap space and could take more runs in free agency.

They have the cap space to take on about three Skinner contracts.

I am a little surprised that they didn't take Holtby over Lind. There isn't a veteran starter with those 3 picks and Holtby may have been a good guy to have around. Or flip him at the draft.

Calgary classless as usual with losing their captain

Missing an entire 1st line and starting goalie but the defence is solid.

Surely with all that cap there'll be some UFA signings/trades in-coming.

In net Driedger had a good season but limited experience, Vanecek has even less and Daccord hasn't played much at all and wasn't great. They really lack a true starter and would be very risky going in with a Driedger-Vanecek combo.

Rask would be very interesting...

If that's the case... Atleast they've maintained flexability.

But will they use it is the question. As much as the picks have been revealed - Im still interested to watch tonight incase there are some rabbits in the hat.

Now that we know who they've picked, I guess the only thing to look forward to for today is... seeing which Seattle celebrity gets to pronounce, I mean announce, a pick. Maybe Lynch announces Lind? Although I would prefer seeing him possibly butcher Jarnkrok, Gourde, Bayreuther, Daccord, Vanecek... wait a second, I'm seeing a pattern here. Did the Krakheads pick these guys based on the difficulty of remembering and pronouncing their last names? Would love to hear Gary Payton say, "and the next pick is some guy named True. For real?" :P
