Really really not happy we didn't just wait one year instead of wasting our first and taking OEL 's abomination of a contract. 1

Popular Post b3.
Jim was probably pissed with Edler, so he traded for someone who wears #23. 6

Those contract came of the books in a year a year. The decision is coming from ownership - and if that was the task, this deal is a beauty from Jim. I think I still prefer slow and steady, keep the pick, but if Aqua wants playoffs this was a doozie of a deal to point us in the right direction. 2 5
Maddogy
Canucks still need a top 4 RD. Is Schmidt staying to play RD? Are Canucks giving up Hoglander is this trade?
Popular Post Canucks Curse
amazing trade actually, garland could be a top line player, OEL still a top 6 d man, and great character guy, excited to see what our team looks like I am a JB skeptic but I like this move a lot. Popular Post Darkstar
Nate Schmidt is likely on his way out too. I really like Garland, and OEL can definitely bounce back on a better team. This is a decent trade. OEL, Hughes, and Rathbone on the left side will be solid for the next 6 years. 6

Add in Zadorov + Rathbone as 6/7 and maybe Eddie on base as 6/7/8 if he decides it’s worth it and we are looking gooooooooood Edited July 23, 2021 by RWJC 1
Nuxfanabroad
Wonder if the twins had much input on OEL? We're building Team Sweden 2.0 Retention, pls...

Garland was basically a point per game. This whole trade depends on if ekmann Larson has any salary retained. If there is ANY salary retained at all this is a big win. 1 1
