My line of thinking is that the Flames get their Giordano replacement while we get a younger more defensive oriented asset that is right handed. Miller-Pettersson-Boeser Hoglander-Horvat-Garland Pearson-Dickinson-Podkolzin Motte-Boyd-Highmore MacEwen (by the way, it feels to not have to type Roussel, Beagle, or Eriksson anymore). My apologies for having caused offense as I should have taken the current PC climate into account. You’re right about the AM proposal but with Garland here now, I would prefer RA. Because Calgary and Vancouver are different teams with different systems? The Flames need a Giordano replacement. Schmidt would likely get more PP time and offensive deployment in Calgary.
