i mean is his defense even that good to make up for 0 offense? most defensive defenseman would at the very least avg 0.1-0.2 ppg... he has the lowest points of anyone in and around him in terms of avg ice time by a long margin that played similar amounts of games.. considering he's 5th on the team in block shot by defenseman.. 5th on the team in hits by defenseman 9th if you include forwards... the 4th option on the pk.. he's like a #5-6 defenseman on a lot of teams 2.5mil seems massive for what he brings to the team.

EDIT: Originally looked at the dates backwards. 

In his last 2 seasons he has 29 points in 87 games. That puts him at a point every 3 games (this while playing only 12 mins of even strength with mostly defensive zone starts).

Makes you wonder what kanucks2's angle is, out of this. What kind of a fan twists a statistic to make a signing look bad, which would then satisfy some kind of twisted ego?

I'm waiting for him to shift the goal posts, like lmm. Both guys are notoriously known for blindly hating a GM, and will go at great lengths to manipulate a signing.

It's already been established that Poolman isn't a points guy. Why are you using points to evaluate how good of a job he is as a defensive defenseman?
