Scott Stevens was a stone cold psychopath out there hell bent on trying to hurt people. Tucker is not and will never be that, best we can hope for would be a poor man's chris tanev.

Ya man.. I was just being overly exaggerating... hard to see another Scott Stevens around... let's see if Tucker can stay healthy and compete with Burroughs for a spot.

That’s just not true.
Go back and look at the video of the Lindross hit.
Stevens was heartbroken and you could see it on his face.
He was an animal, but that was the game back then.
What kind of a dumbass goes skating through the middle with his head down when Stevens was on the ice?

Lindross had the puck and tried to take on 4 guys with his head down.

Kariya was admiring his handy work and crossing over.

The hit might have been a BIT late, but not much.   If he was paying attention, that hit doesn’t happen.

Scott Stevens was freaking awesome and I’d love for someone on our team to play with even half his snarl.

We need a Stevens.

Yup

and most big injury causing open ice hits are because the player getting hit isnt fully paying attention

1995 finals, stevens laid out kozlov. Almost took his head clean off, as they lead his zombie body off the ice the Detroit bench was giving scott the gears. Scott gave a chilling smile pointed at Dino Ciccarelli and said "You're Next!"

Yeah he was a teddy bear :bigblush:

I clearly said he was an animal. Lol

The guy had the puck and was crossing over with his head down.
Stevens also took all the body as well.
Did he hit the head?   Yeah. But back then you could.  Dont hater the player……

The guy put himself in a bad position, had his head down, knew Stevens could be on the ice, and Stevens went straight through the guys body (and head).

Poolman towers over 6'1" Brock Boeser and doesn't look much smaller than 6'4" Demko.  He's minimum 6'3"...

1. Boeser is leaning forwards. 2. Poolman is closer to the camera than Demko so he will appear bigger. 6’1/6’2ish is pretty accurate for Poolman.
