I still think JR goes to Abby to be "the" guy there.  Doesn't require waivers and what's the point of having him in the PB?

I'm guessing that's likely as well. Still basically our defacto 4th LD. But just down the highway, available for recall.

I think Podz is a big boy and mature well beyond his years.  However, learning from the Tryamkin experience, it would have been good to add a buddy imho.

I just can’t put Myers in the number 1 RD spot, I can’t do it.
He was a disaster with Hughes so doesn’t fit there.

Because Hughes was a disaster defensively.  You could see Myers trying to do too much to cover for him.  With OEL he only has to worry about his own assignment.

Exactly... and too bad we are not getting Kulikov who speaks perfect English too... and I don't think either Gusev or Anisimov is a fit... so will be interesting to see if we are getting a Russian player...

I never got a stable feeling from Try, ever.  Podz has a hunger that Try never had

They should run something like a basketball 1-2-1-1 trap. Hughes, OEL and Rathbone can play up and the right D get cleanup.
Ah that would be funny.

Always respected him for sticking up for Huggy bear when he got his first assist. @14 second mark he goes after Lewis.

I honestly thought Luke was a big help to Quinn in is first year playing.  His physical presence really helped ease Quinn in to the league and build his confidence.

Maybe we found Quinn's new partner?

I'm kidding.
