Never got that 100th goal. Was never the biggest Edler fan, but woulda been nice to see him hit the century mark. Oh well. He got a good contract to play in LA.

Sorry to see him go, but it was time and I really don't think the Canucks should have been willing to go more than 2 - 2.5 million, and I think they were offering more like 1.5 million.

 

Really wish him luck, hope we see him back in Vancouver in some capacity, when he retires.

There's no way the nucks would have offered him anything close to that.  He's fine getting that on the open market - no problem - but the nucks did not have the need for him positionally, nor the cap space for it.  All good.
